Nicci Bates - "Jackie Nelson"
Nicci Bates was born in Lansing, MI and grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. She has been doing theatre since the age of 6. Nicci is best known for creating her own web-series, Just Jackie, that she produces, co-writes, and plays the lead in. She can be seen in several National Commercials.
MIchael T. Kachingwe - "Marcus Nelson"
Michael T. Kachingwe is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA. He most recently was a guest artist at Cal Poly Pomona University in the production of The Whipping Man in the role of “Simon”. He has appeared in Southern California Shakespeare Festival in The Tempest as “Prospero” as well as in Richard III as “Queen Margaret.” He has performed in over 40 productions including theatrical engagements at the Kennedy Center (Washington DC), La Mama (off Broadway), Steppenwolf (Chicago), Goodman (Chicago), Victory Gardens (Chicago), Shubert (Boston), Southern California Shakespeare Festival, Hayworth (LA), Robey (LA) and Unicorn (Kansas City). Theatre roles include ”Claudius” in Hamlet, “Caius” in Merry Wives of Windsor, “Michael Cassio” in Othello, “Claudius” in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, “Charlie” in Bourbon at the Border, ”Wil” in Flyin’ West, , “Slow Drag” in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, “Bynum” in Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, and “Keo” in Nomathemba (featuring Ladysmith Black Mambazo). He can currently be seen in the Web Series Just Jackie in the role of “Marcus”. In addition to his theatrical performing credits, Michael has appeared in film and television including roles in West Wing, The Bold and the Beautiful, and several national commercials. Michael has also directed over 50 theatrical productions, vocal coached over 40 productions, and fight choreographed over 30 productions.
Matt Harrison - "Walter Owens"
Originally from Melrose, a small town in upstate NY; Matt Harrison grew up on 100 acres of land with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He was bitten by the acting bug in the 4th grade when he played Amahl in "Amahl and the Night Visitors" and could never quite shake it. That journey has taken him from NYC to LA, encompassing a 12 year stint in production in the TV commercials industry where he learned a ton behind the camera from a lot of respected professionals. Matt’s extremely grateful to the Just Jackie team for making him a part of their family, it has been a blast to work with them all on this web series…. As he pursues his film and TV career, Matt has kept himself busy onstage all over LA. So far this year, he originated the lead role of Ron Barkley in More Guns! The Musical at the Zephyr Theater and prior to that, another brand new play, FIVE SECOND CHANCES, at the Pacific Resident Theater; where he originated the role of Colin, an incredibly loyal and light hearted Irishman from Cork. Some of Matt’s other recent LA theater credits include Alan Raleigh in GOD OF CARNAGE at the CAP Theater, Franz Liebkind in THE PRODUCERS, and all the Adult Males in SPRING AWAKENING at the Morgan-Wixson as well as Mike Talman in WAIT UNTIL DARK at the Hermosa Playhouse. Matt is currently studying at Krater Studios with Jen Krater, the best studio he has found in NY or LA, with a phenomenal community of artists. He loves NY sports! Go Giants, Go Mets, Go Knicks (he knows, ouch!) and is eternally grateful to his incredible family and enthusiastic friends for all of their unending support.
Felisha Norman - "nina"
Felisha Norman is a producer and writer, known for Just Jackie (2017) and Awww Nuts(2005). Felisha is a graduate of Northern Illinois University's M.F.A. Acting program. She has accomplished roles such as Louise in Gypsy, Steele in A Piece of My Heart, Fannie in Flyin' West, title roles in Lysistrata, House of Bernarda Alba and Keely and Du. In addition to acting and writing; Felisha is managing director of Shaka Originals which produced the NAACP nominated stage play Misery Street which was nominated for several awards and walked away with Best Ensemble Cast award. Felisha and her writing partner Nicci Bates both starred in Misery Street in the roles of Roni and Nat.
Sophia Thomas - "Susan"
Sophia Thomas is an actress/singer/dancer, voice-over artist, & producer with a BFA from Chicago’s Roosevelt University. She was born in Jamaica, but raised in NYC & Iowa. Before moving to LA, she lived & worked in NYC for 10 years. She is a music & photography-loving, flower & health-food obsessed, wife, & mother. She loves to dance, hike, & travel. To relax, she enjoys journaling by water (pool or ocean), taking extensive walks on the beach, stretching, watching movies, and of course, drinking wine (preferably sweet). :D
