Just Jackie is a web series created by Nicci Bates and co-written with Felisha Norman.

Jackie Nelson is struggling to find balance between work, kids, husband, and ex-husband. It’s hard enough to raise 3 kids, but when your current husband has befriended your ex-husband and work in cahoots against you, it creates more than its fair share of debacles. Divorce is never easy, and it’s never what anyone thinks it’s going to be. Jackie is continuously confronted with this reality but manages to find the humor of the situation through the help of her “Book Club” girlfriends.

Jackie is the perfectly imperfect working mother who attempts to juggle way more than anyone can and do it all successfully. This is an impossible feat, so her means of coping is hiding alone in the bathroom with her stash of wine hidden in a clearly marked “off limits” mouthwash bottle where she airs out her issues and expresses her true feelings and reactions to what’s happening in her world.
